Schedule/Hours:
Travel assignment with required call rotation
Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted RN license in state of practice Current BLS (AHA) required on hire; must maintain ACLS (AHA) required within 30 days of hire; must maintain PALS (AHA) required within 30 days of hire; must maintain Minimum one year of perioperative nursing experience, or equivalent on-the-job training CNOR certification (AORN) preferred BSN preferred
EPIC EMR
proficiency Pre/Post Op experience required
Responsibilities:
Provide direct and indirect patient care in the perioperative setting using the nursing process Coordinate care with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary teams Supervise the OR Technician and other personnel to maintain standards of care Ensure compliance with departmental, hospital, and regulatory policies Participate in performance improvement initiatives and educational sessions Serve as a resource for peers and maintain efficient patient flow Take required call shifts
