Our adult cardiology practice has over 23 cardiologists and 12 nurse practitioners. We are growing our APP team (NP/PA). Our office locations are Covina, Arcadia and Pasadena; the current position is for our Covina location. Our services include programs that address structural heart disease, coronary and peripheral interventions, electrophysiology, cardiac imaging, and general cardiology. Other programs in research, advanced heart failure and venous disease; please visit our website. About the Opportunity This job opportunity includes clinical rotations in the hospital, office and noninvasive lab. This position offers an extensive breath of experience and knowledge in all the subspecialties of cardiology. The APP team (NP/PA) have a true collaborative practice with the cardiologists. Standardized procedures, job descriptions and physician agreements are well established. This position is full time salaried with a comprehensive benefit package; there are few weekend rotations.

Full medical, 401K, education reimbursement and more. Required Skills To be successful in this position you will need the following:- Be a strong collaborator that understands the principles of Shared Governance o Motivated self-learner
- Board certified NP/PA; graduate of accredited NP/PA school o Acute Care/Geri; will consider FNPs o Prefer past experience in ICU/ER/step down or cardiology as RN or NP
- ACLS, BLS, furnishing number and valid RN, NP and PA licenses
- We will train new graduates o We have a formal NP/PA training program: We also have an affiliation with UCLA School of Nursing NP program
