Job Description

Job Description:
CūRA Aesthetics is a purpose-driven, high-end medical aesthetic destination in Del Mar, CA. Co-founded by a former Amphibious Reconnaissance Marine/classical artist and a BSN, RN practice builder, we specialize in advanced, holistic treatment protocols (like our signature CūRA Complete Transformation). We are not a high-volume, transactional corporate med spa—we are a sanctuary of quiet luxury, discipline, and clinical mastery. We are looking for Employee Number Three . This is a rare, foundational "Residency" role designed for a licensed RN, NP, or PA who wants to break into the medical aesthetics industry and build a lifelong career without ever outgrowing the company. The Reality of the
Role :
We do not hire "just injectors." We hire holistic builders. To operate at the highest level of clinical mastery, you must understand our patients, our culture, and our operations from the foundation up. You will start by mastering the front-of-house guest experience, patient intakes, and medical assisting—all while undergoing intense, hands-on clinical mentorship directly under our founders. As you master the CūRA standard of care, your role will transition into a full-time, high-level practicing clinical provider. If you are a licensed medical professional who values discipline, long-term patient alignment, and elite mentorship over quick fixes, your path starts here. What You Will Do (The Journey): Phase 1: The Foundation (Guest Experience & Clinical Support)
Hospitality & Intake:
Manage the front face of the clinic—greeting guests, managing schedules, and handling phone/digital inquiries with elite emotional intelligence.
Clinical Assisting:
Conduct patient intakes, capture high-accuracy before-and-after photography, and apply precise pre-treatment numbing.
Content & Growth:
Use your clinical eye to capture raw, high-quality organic photo/video content of patient journeys, and intelligently engage with our social media community.
Community Ambassadorship:
Participate in local field networking to build long-term referral relationships in the Del Mar community. Phase 2: The Mastery (Clinical Transition)
Shadow & Train:
Undergo rigorous, one-on-one training under our rockstar lead injector and laser specialist to learn CūRA's proprietary technology-layering methodologies (combining CO2, Xerf structural tightening, and IPL).
The Shift:
Gradually transition your hours away from administration and into the treatment room, building your own dedicated patient book under the CūRA umbrella. The Trajectory (Where This Role Leads): We hire for who you are becoming. This role is designed to be your final career destination. As the practice scales, you will move into:
Full-Time Aesthetic Practitioner:
Running advanced laser protocols and complex injectable curation programs. Potential to become a lead practitioner for a practice or region.
Who You Are:
Licensed & Driven:
You hold an active, unrestricted California nursing or practitioner license (RN, NP, or PA).
Ego-Free & Disciplined:
You understand that mastering the desk, the phones, and the clinical prep is essential to understanding the heartbeat of the business. No task is beneath you.
Aesthetically & Artistically Minded:
You have a natural eye for facial harmony, balance, and clean, elevated visual design.
Growth-Oriented:
You aren't looking for a transactional "injector shift." You want a lifelong career where your professional growth matches the company's scaling trajectory.
Requirements:
    Active California Medical License:
Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician Assistant (PA).
    • Exceptional communication, sales psychology, and high-end hospitality skills.
    • A strong knack for capturing clean, aesthetically pleasing social media content (iPhone photo/video).
    • Flexibility to seamlessly balance administrative workflows, clinical learning, and community networking.
    Benefits & Compensation :
    • Base Pay to start. Pay Increase + Performance-Driven Commission Structure as clinical hours scale.
    • Elite, proprietary one-on-one aesthetic training and mentorship (valued at thousands of dollars).
    • Clear, documented long-term career equity and professional development.
    • Paid time off and employee styling/treatment perks.
How to Apply (Crucial Step): To be considered, please submit your resume along with a brief cover note answering these two questions: 1. Why do you want to start your aesthetics career at the front desk and clinical support level rather than stepping straight into an injecting role? 2. What does "forward motion" mean to you in your own medical career?
    • (
    Note:
Generic, automated applications that do not answer these questions will not be reviewed. Absolute attention to detail is required for this founding role.)
      Pay:
      $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
      Benefits:
Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance
      Work Location:
      In person
