Our Agency services adult and geriatric clients on a per-visit basis in territories throughout Los Angeles County, Orange County, and Kern County. One year of prior clinical experience as a licensed LVN in Home Health is required. Licensed Vocational Nurse provides practical nursing skills within the scope of nursing practice standards in collaboration with RN case managers/supervisors and teaches and educate patients and their families according to the established professional plan of care. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our healthcare team. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patients' conditions
- Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare topics, including disease management and preventive care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Adhere to infection control standards to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients
- Provide acute pain management and suture care as needed
- Assist with pain management techniques
- Experience working with children is preferred
Requirements:
- Valid LVN license in the state of California
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Knowledge of airway management techniques
- Familiarity with Durable Medical Equipment (DME)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
