Category Nursing - RN-Operating Room Job Type Contract Bring your clinical expertise to a dynamic surgical environment in this vital nursing role. This opportunity is ideal for skilled professionals looking to make an impact in the Operating Room setting. You'll work as an essential member of the perioperative team, collaborating closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and fellow nurses to ensure optimal outcomes for patients during surgical procedures. Requirements and Desired Experience Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) Minimum of one year recent experience in an Operating Room (OR) setting Comprehensive understanding of perioperative nursing principles and sterile technique Strong assessment, prioritization, and communication skills Ability to function effectively in high-stress, fast-paced situations Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications, as required Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient safety and high-quality care Key Responsibilities Circulate and scrub for a variety of surgical procedures, maintaining strict adherence to sterile protocol Prepare the OR by setting up necessary equipment, instruments, and supplies Assess and monitor patients' physical and emotional status before, during, and after surgery Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans Document care accurately in compliance with facility and regulatory standards Serve as a patient advocate, ensuring comfort and providing updates to families as appropriate Perks and Advantages Supportive work environment with access to resources and mentorship Opportunity to gain experience with diverse surgical cases and advanced technologies Professional development within a respected clinical team If you're ready to advance your nursing practice in a rewarding perioperative role, apply today and contribute your expertise to excellent patient care!
