Schedule/Hours:
Travel position with flexible contract-based scheduling
Key Qualifications:
Active RN license required Minimum of one year of recent Cath Lab nursing experience Current BLS and ACLS certifications Strong knowledge of cardiac care best practices Superb assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills Adaptability to fluctuating case volumes and high-acuity situations Comfortable operating specialized Cath Lab equipment
Core Responsibilities:
Assist physicians with cardiac cath procedures and interventions Prepare patients and provide education regarding procedures Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures Administer medications and maintain accurate documentation Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and aseptic techniques Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for optimal patient care
