This is a benefited, Part time position (48 hours every 2 weeks) working 8-hr varied shifts ( 0745-1615, 0800-1630 or 830-1700) . No weekends or holidays. Located at Scripps Clinic Encinitas. What you'll do: The majority of this position is working in Epic, inbasket messaging and triaging, but will also place IVs for Definity and perform stress echocardiograms. Demonstrate compassionate care during patient assessments and care tasks, including medication administration as appropriate, all completed over the phone (phone triaging and education). Work the inbaskets/messages for the entire shift. Learn about cardiac devices, stress tests, triaging, and read device alerts. Ensure Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience.
Provide patient care including:
compliance with patient assessments and care tasks triaging completion of clinical procedures emergency protocols and medication administration Works collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care. Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
Current California RN License BLS and ACLS from American Heart Association Graduate from an
Accredited Nursing Program Preferred Experience:
