Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-ER Job Type Contract Step into a key leadership role as an Interim Emergency Services Manager, where your expertise in emergency room nursing and management will make an immediate impact. This contract opportunity calls for a skilled RN with strong ER experience to oversee critical care operations and ensure the highest standards of patient care.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday 40 hours per week guaranteed
Qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California BLS certification required Minimum of five years of experience in emergency room nursing At least two years in a nursing management or leadership capacity Recent TB clearance (within the past 12 months) Demonstrated ability to manage ER staff and coordinate patient care efficiently Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail
Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day management of the Emergency Department Supervise and support nursing staff, fostering professional growth and collaboration Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes Ensure compliance with all regulatory policies, procedures, and standards of care Oversee staffing, scheduling, and workflow processes to maintain optimal department function Analyze and report performance metrics, implementing quality improvement initiatives as needed Address patient and family concerns with professionalism and empathy This role offers competitive compensation and a chance to lead a dynamic emergency services team.
