Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Hospice Nurse to join our team. As a Hospice Nurse, you will provide specialized care and support to patients and their families during end-of-life care. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients and their loved ones.Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, Medication reconciliation, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with activities of daily living
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Educate patients and families on disease progression, symptom management, and end-of-life care options
Qualifications:
- Experience working in hospice or palliative care preferred
- Licensed RN
- Obtain BLS
- Submit documentation in a timely manner.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
- Experience with HospiceMD
- Knowledge of hospice documentation.
- Knowledge of wound care, including suturing and dressing changes
- Competent in administering injections and medications
- Familiarity with occupational health practices and infection control protocols
- Ability to deescalate situations in a professional and safe manner.
Compensation:
based on experience.Pay:
$75.00- $100.
