Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Hospice Nurse to join our team. As a Hospice Nurse, you will provide specialized care and support to patients and their families during end-of-life care. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients and their loved ones.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, Medication reconciliation, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with activities of daily living
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care for patients
  • Educate patients and families on disease progression, symptom management, and end-of-life care options
Qualifications:
  • Experience working in hospice or palliative care preferred
  • Licensed RN
  • Obtain BLS
  • Submit documentation in a timely manner.
  • Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
  • Experience with HospiceMD
  • Knowledge of hospice documentation.
  • Knowledge of wound care, including suturing and dressing changes
  • Competent in administering injections and medications
  • Familiarity with occupational health practices and infection control protocols
  • Ability to deescalate situations in a professional and safe manner.
Compensation:
based on experience.
Pay:
$75.00
