Job Description

Overview Registered Nurse - Med Surg, travel assignment in Fort Bragg, CA. Start date 06/08/2026 for 13 weeks, weekly pay $1,425-$1,478 per week, 36 hours per week, night shift (3x12-hour nights). Work setting is a critical access hospital.

Critical access hospital travel assignment Responsibilities Provide direct patient care for adult medical-surgical patients, including performing initial assessments, ongoing monitoring, and reassessment to guide care plans. Administer prescribed medications and therapies, manage IVs, monitor vital signs and laboratory results, and respond to changes in patient condition. Perform appropriate procedures within scope of practice and unit policy; support wound care, drains, catheters, and other routine Med Surg interventions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans; participate in handoffs and discharge planning. Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record; ensure patient safety, infection control, and quality of care standards. Requirements Active RN license in California ACLS and BLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience, with work in the specialty area in the last 3 months Ability to work a night-shift schedule (3x12-hour nights) on a travel assignment
Education:
