Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-ER Job Type Contract Take on a vital leadership role in emergency care by bringing your expertise to an engaging interim opportunity. This position is ideal for a skilled RN with a passion for high-quality patient care and proven management abilities. Support an Emergency Department's critical mission, guiding a diverse, dedicated team to deliver outstanding results.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday 40 hours per week, guaranteed
Desired Qualifications:
Current active RN license in California Minimum of five years' emergency room nursing experience At least two years in a management or leadership role within an Emergency Department Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Recent TB clearance (from within the past 12 months)
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the Emergency Department, ensuring clinical excellence and regulatory compliance Mentor and supervise nursing staff, fostering a positive, team-oriented environment Collaborate with physicians, healthcare providers, and hospital administration to optimize patient outcomes Implement process improvements and policy changes to elevate patient care standards Monitor departmental budgets and resource utilization to maintain efficiency Advocate for staff professional development and continuing education opportunities
