Deliver monthly progress reports on a timely basis for billing purposes. Work with employers on job duty modifications based on medical limitations and the employee's functional assessment. Explaining physician's and therapists' instructions, and answers any other questions the claimant may have in an effort to facilitate his/her return to work Develop and maintain a list of exceptional providers in the trade area for recommendations. May provide testimony on litigated cases.
Coordinating injured workers' appointments and attends. Maintaining phone contact with all parties involved. Keeping accreditation current and in good standing. Capturing your time for case management duties. Serve as an intermediary to interpret and educate the individual on his/her disability, and the treatment plan established by the case manager, physicians, and therapists. Acquiring and maintaining knowledge of developments in the medical case management field.
