Day 4x10-Hour (06:30 - 17:00) Weekly for 40 hours : $ 3,171 weekly ($28/hr w2 + $1939 week stipend)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) to join our surgical team. The CVOR RN is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective patient care before, during, and after surgery.

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures. Prepare the operating room by ensuring all surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies are available and functioning properly. Assist surgeons during open-heart, vascular, and other cardiovascular procedures by performing circulating and/or scrub nurse duties. Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection prevention and patient safety protocols. Monitor patients throughout surgical procedures and document patient status accurately. Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Administer medications, blood products, and IV fluids as prescribed. Respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations during surgical procedures. Educate patients and families regarding the surgical process, recovery, and post-operative care. Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).

ACLS, BCLS SCHEDULE IS M-F WITH 1 DAY OFF, MAY NOT ALWAYS BE THE SAME DAY EVERY WEEK

Must be able to do open vasc, endo vasc, hybrid room, CV procedures
