Charge Nurse (RN)

Operating Room Responsibilities:

Oversight of clinical operations for a three-operating room, multi-specialty center of excellence. Assumes overall management of clinical staff, injection control, clinical scheduling, QAPI, emergency preparedness and regulatory compliance. Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care. Hands on as a circulator, pre and post op care. Provide hand-off reports to other teammates that are accurate, concise and pertinent to the patient's condition and response to care. Act as a clinical resource for perioperative personnel using current literature and guidelines, organizational policies and procedures, and regulatory and accreditation standards. Assist perioperative personnel in the evaluation of current practice through quality and performance improvement activities. Perform all other duties as assigned. Charge Nurse (RN)

Operating Room Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Three years of OR and PACU RN experience. Current California state nursing licensure to practice in good standings.

ACLS/BLS

certification. Two years of nursing leadership experience.
