Qualifications Nursing:

2 years circulating (Required) RN (Required) BLS Certification (Preferred)

Responsibilities:

As a circulating nurse, you will collaborate closely with surgeons and surgical technicians, adapting to the dynamic need of the operating room. In this position, you will be expected to anticipate the needs of the surgical team, providing support to anesthesia personnel during the administration of anesthesia. You will review patients' medical records to plan appropriate care in collaboration with other healthcare team members. Proper patient positioning and preparation of the operative site will be essential tasks, as will monitoring compliance with aseptic techniques to uphold the highest standards of surgical practice. Prepare the OR according to requirements of patient/procedure to be performed. Assemble and provide properly functioning equipment, supplies and instruments before the start of the procedure. The role requires a commitment to patient advocacy and a strong ethical foundation as you will be responsible for making critical decisions and solving problems in real-time during surgical procedures.

Education and Experience:

We are seeking a Registered Nurse with experience in procedures and/or operating room in a surgical setting. Must have OR experience in an ambulatory surgery center.

Required License:

A current CA nursing license, ACLS, BCLS and PALS Please send resume.

$81.00 - $86.00 per hour
