Job Title, Registered Nurse (RN) Break Relief Nurse Specialty / Department, Emergency Department, Medical-Surgical/Swing Bed, Skilled Nursing Location, King City, CA 93930 Job Type, Travel/Contract Duration, 13 Weeks Shift, Day Shift Schedule, 7:00 AM 7:30 PM Guaranteed Hours, 36 Hours per Week Estimated Weekly Gross $2,675.00 Start Date, Typical start date is within approximately 2 weeks after offer acceptance and completion of onboarding/credentialing requirements. Experience Requirements, Minimum 1 year of acute care experience within the last 2 years required. Minimum 6 months recent Emergency Department or Critical Care experience required. License/Certification Requirements, Active California RN License, AHA
BLS , ACLS
, and PALS required. BLS must be issued by the American Heart Association. Job Summary, The RN Break Relief Nurse provides supplemental staffing and break coverage across multiple hospital departments including Emergency, Medical-Surgical/Swing Bed, and Skilled Nursing. The nurse will independently implement the nursing process, deliver safe patient care, and support units as assigned. Must be comfortable floating between trained and competency-validated departments. Patient population ranges from newborn through geriatric patients. Important Notes, Must be willing to float between assigned departments. Experience in Emergency or Critical Care settings strongly preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required. No on-call requirement. Weekly billing cycle. Overtime paid after 40 hours worked per week. Housing may be limited in the area; early housing planning is recommended. Facility prefers all credentialing documents submitted together in one complete package.
