Schedule:

Day shifts Two to eight hours of on-call shifts every four weeks 30-minute response time required while on call

Qualifications:

Active California RN license Current CPR and NRP certifications Minimum of three years of recent RN experience At least two years of recent experience in an OR specialty nursing role Completion of OR questionnaire required prior to assignment

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individualized, holistic care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues Perform thorough assessments, document findings, and set patient-centered goals Develop, adjust, and implement care plans based on evolving patient needs and clinical outcomes Deliver care using the full nursing process, ensuring safety, efficacy, and compliance Engage families in care decisions, serve as an advocate, and provide education tailored to their needs Recognize socio-cultural factors, adapting care to support diverse populations Effectively communicate and coordinate with the surgical team and ancillary staff to optimize workflow and expedite patient progress Delegate care tasks appropriately, support the growth of team members, and participate in patient care conferences for quality outcomes This is a unique chance to make a meaningful impact in surgical care while working alongside dedicated professionals.
