Job Description

Category Schools - RN Nurse Job Type Contract Bring your skills as a Certified School Nurse to a supportive environment focused on helping young learners thrive. A new opportunity is available for a contract position supporting extended school year (ESY) services near Lake Elsinore, CA. With a set schedule and meaningful work, you'll be making a difference each day.
Key Qualifications:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license Valid Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential required Experience working within school settings, preferably preschool or early childhood Proficiency in conducting screenings and assessments (vision, hearing) Strong communication and documentation abilities
Role Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive health support to preschool students attending ESY services Conduct and document vision and hearing screenings as part of preschool assessments Collaborate with educators and allied professionals to assist in developing appropriate plans for students Serve as a resource for parents and staff on healthcare matters Promote a safe, inclusive, and healthy environment for all students
Position Details:
Contract assignment from June 16th through July 16th 20 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, 9:00 am-1:00 pm Focus exclusively on preschool-age children during ESY Work closely with a team dedicated to student well-being This is a fantastic opportunity if you enjoy making an impact during the summer and prefer a consistent daytime schedule.
