The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in various settings, including those with special needs. As an LVN, you will play a crucial role in patient assessment, medication administration, and supporting the overall health and well-being of our patients. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and treatment options. Assist in diagnostic evaluations, including the use of Cerner for patient records management. Support patients with disabilities, ensuring their comfort and safety during care procedures. Participate in training programs within a teaching hospital environment to enhance clinical skills. Engage with pediatric patients, demonstrating patience and understanding of their unique needs. Perform dialysis procedures as required, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Experience Previous experience in primary care or a similar healthcare setting is preferred. Familiarity with medication administration protocols and patient assessment techniques is essential. Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities will be considered an asset. Knowledge of diagnostic evaluation processes and electronic health record systems like Cerner is advantageous.
