3x12-hour Nights Start date: 06/01/2026 Facility/work setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital Responsibilities Provide direct patient care to ER patients, including initial assessment, triage, ongoing monitoring, and treatment planning. Administer medications, IV therapies, and procedures per physician orders; monitor for adverse reactions. Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record; ensure accurate handoffs to oncoming staff. Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other health care professionals to deliver timely, evidence-based care. Maintain patient safety through rapid response to deteriorating conditions, proper use of monitoring equipment, and adherence to protocols. Support discharge planning and patient education for families and patients while ensuring privacy and dignity.
