The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing dialysis treatment, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. The role is offered as a part-time or per diem basis. Duties Assess and monitor patients' vital signs before, during, and after dialysis treatments. Administer medications as prescribed and ensure proper documentation of all treatments. Conduct physical examinations to evaluate patients' overall health status. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding dialysis procedures and care plans. Collaborate with healthcare providers for effective case management and patient care coordination. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Engage in behavioral health assessments to address any psychological aspects of patient care. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in dialysis nursing. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills: Proficiency in monitoring vital signs and understanding their implications for patient care. Experience with infant care is a plus, enhancing the ability to cater to diverse patient populations. Strong skills in IV insertion and medication administration are essential for this role. Familiarity with physical examinations, behavioral health assessments, ophthalmology procedures, and medical office operations will be beneficial. Previous experience in case management is advantageous for effective patient advocacy and support.
