Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to outpatient obstetric patients within LVN scope of practice under RN/provider supervision, including but not limited to: vital signs, application of fetal monitors, patient intake and documentation, phlebotomy, IV starts, specimen collection, point of care testing, medication administration, and patient education. Collaborate with and support the interdisciplinary teams including RNs, physicians, midwives, and ancillary staff Ensure compliance with infection prevention, safety, and regulatory standards Support unit operations, including stocking supplies and maintaining a safe, organized environment Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for this role, including but not limited to, shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of California Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in an emergency, urgent care, or outpatient clinic setting Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in Women's Health, Labor & Delivery, or OB triage/OBED Experience with EPIC electronic health record platform, or equivalent. Fetal monitoring experience or exposure (e.g., assisting with EFM, recognizing basic patterns) Knowledge of common obstetric emergencies and conditions Experience using electronic health records (EHR) systems
