Job Description

Beverly Glenn is a respected healthcare recruiter partnered with two of Southern California's largest home health and hospice agencies. Our partner agencies are licensed, Medicare-certified, and CHAP accredited, delivering exceptional care throughout California. Our growing agency is in need of an MSW to assist in the care of home health and hospice patients in Los Angeles County / Orange County.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following is a representation of the major duties and responsibilities of this position. The agency will make reasonable accommodations to allow otherwise qualified applicants with disabilities to perform essential functions. Will provide services in accordance with a plan of treatment and plan of care as ordered by the patient's physician. Observes and evaluates treatment effect and patient's overt physical/emotional response to treatment goals. Spanish speaker, preferred, not required
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS 1. A
graduate of a Master's program in social work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education. 2. Minimum of one (1) year's experience in health care, hospice experience preferred. Understands hospice philosophy, and issues of death/dying. 3. Demonstrates good verbal and written communication, and organization skills. 4. Possesses and maintains current CPR Certification. 5. Must be licensed with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements and is in good working order.
Pay:
$25.96 - $45.00 per hour
