Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-Operating Room Job Type Contract Elevate your nursing practice in a dynamic operating room environment where exceptional clinical skills make a daily impact. This contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced, dedicated Registered Nurse with expertise in perioperative care. Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists to ensure optimal patient safety and surgical outcomes.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current RN license in good standing Minimum of one year of recent experience in an Operating Room setting BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred Proficient with circulating and/or scrubbing on various surgical procedures Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures Act as patient advocate, ensuring comfort and safety at every stage Monitor and document patient status, responding rapidly to changing clinical situations Prepare, maintain, and account for all surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies Maintain aseptic technique and adhere to infection control standards consistently Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the surgical team to coordinate care Follow all facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements In this role, you'll have the chance to work alongside leading healthcare professionals, further refining your surgical nursing skills.
