Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-Operating Room Job Type Contract Take your nursing expertise to the next level in a dynamic Operating Room environment, delivering exceptional care to surgical patients. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in the Operating Room to provide comprehensive perioperative care and support surgical teams in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum of 1 year of recent experience working in an Operating Room Current BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association preferred) Demonstrated proficiency in aseptic technique and circulating or scrub roles Ability to work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists Excellent communication, critical thinking, and time management skills
Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for surgery and provide intraoperative care Assist with surgical setup, instrument counts, and maintenance of a sterile field Serve as a circulating or scrub nurse, anticipating the needs of the surgical team Monitor patient status and implement interventions as needed Ensure accurate documentation of procedures and patient care records Adhere to all hospital policies, protocols, and safety regulations Provide patient and family education related to perioperative care Contract assignment offers the opportunity to contribute your skills in a state-of-the-art operating suite, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and make a real difference in patients' surgical outcomes.
