Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-Operating Room Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding nursing role where your skills in perioperative care and surgical support truly make a difference. This opportunity is perfect for Registered Nurses with experience in the Operating Room, looking to contribute to high-quality patient care alongside experienced surgical teams.
Qualifications:
Active and unencumbered RN license Minimum of 1 year of recent Operating Room (OR) experience Current BLS and ACLS certification Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing practices Excellent communication and critical-thinking abilities Ability to anticipate the needs of surgeons and operating room staff
Responsibilities:
Deliver safe, skilled nursing care during pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases Prepare, monitor, and assist patients through surgical procedures Maintain aseptic technique and uphold infection control standards Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other OR team members Support and circulate as needed for a variety of surgical specialties Maintain accurate, concise clinical documentation throughout each procedure Provide emotional support and patient education to patients and families
