This is a full-time, fully benefitted position offering a competitive compensation rate of $48.00

Job Overview As the LVN ADON, you will partner directly with our Director of Nursing (DON) to oversee clinical operations, lead nursing staff, and maintain high standards of patient-centered care. You will bridge the gap between administrative leadership and hands-on floor support, promoting a compliant, safe, and positive environment for our 148-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility.

Key Responsibilities Clinical Leadership:
Assist the DON in overseeing daily nursing operations, clinical protocols, and state/federal regulatory compliance.
Staff Supervision:
Manage, mentor, and schedule floor nurses (LVNs) and CNAs to optimize resident care and shift ratios.
Quality Assurance:
Participate in quality assurance performance improvement (QAPI) audits and infection control monitoring.
Resident Advocacy:
Oversee care plan implementations, coordinate with multidisciplinary therapy teams, and communicate facility updates directly to family members.
Incident Management:
Investigate clinical incidents, document findings in PointClickCare (PCC), and implement corrective actions.
Floor Support:
Step in to assist with clinical floor tasks, complex medication administration, or urgent medical assessments as required.
Qualifications & Requirements Licensure:
Active, unrestricted California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in good standing.
Experience:
Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.
Leadership Experience:
Prior supervisor, Charge Nurse, or Unit Manager experience preferred.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR), with a preference for PointClickCare (PCC).
Regulatory Knowledge:
Sound understanding of California Title 22 regulations and CMS guidelines.
