9 Lynwood, CA Job Details 16 hours ago Qualifications RN License Cardiac rhythm analysis BLS Certification ACLS Certification Monitoring and managing IVs Working with cardiac care patients Cath lab Full Job Description Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity is ideal for a Registered Nurse passionate about delivering specialized care within a dynamic Cardiac Catheterization Lab environment. You'll be an integral part of a highly skilled cardio team, utilizing advanced technology to support critical cardiac procedures.
Schedule/Hours:
10-hour shifts, 4 days a week On-call required: 10 days per month (including at least 4 weekend days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted RN license Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in a Cath Lab RN role Proven ability to perform under pressure during emergent cardiac cases Excellent IV skills and arrhythmia interpretation BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association) Strong interpersonal and critical thinking abilities Familiarity with EPIC or similar EMR systems a plus Willing and able to meet the on-call requirements as outlined
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct patient care during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures Monitor and document patient status pre, intra, and post-procedure Circulate and/or scrub within the cath lab setting depending on case needs Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection prevention protocols Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and families Participate in on-call rotation, responding promptly to emergent cases
