Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-Operating Room Job Type Contract Step into a vital clinical role utilizing your expertise as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room. This contract position offers an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality patient care during surgical procedures, working alongside a dedicated surgical team.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current, active RN license Minimum of one year of experience in an operating room setting BLS certification (required); ACLS preferred Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing standards and aseptic technique Proficient in patient assessment, care planning, and OR documentation Excellent team collaboration, communication, and critical thinking skills
Schedule/Hours:
Schedule and shift details to be confirmed upon interview
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to ensure efficient and safe procedures Prepare the operating room and verify all surgical equipment and supplies prior to surgery Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after surgical procedures Maintain strict adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols Document all patient care and surgical activities accurately and thoroughly Respond quickly and appropriately to changes in patient status in the OR Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families
