Qualifications:
Active RN license, valid in California Prior experience in Interventional Radiology required Proficiency with IR procedures such as angiography, biopsies, PICC line insertions, and drain placements BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care throughout all phases of IR procedures Collaborate with interventional radiologists and other healthcare professionals Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures; recognize and respond to complications Educate patients and families regarding procedures and post-procedure care Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards
