Wound Care Location:
Mission Viejo, CA (Saddleback MemorialCare)Shift:
Day Shift Duration:
8 weeksPay:
$55.00/hour-$60.00/hour Job Responsibilities- Provide specialized wound care treatment for adult and geriatric patients.
- Perform comprehensive wound assessments, including staging of pressure ulcers.
- Manage colostomy, ileostomy, and incontinence care.
- Utilize advanced wound care techniques, including wound vac therapy and various debridement methods.
- Document care using the Epic electronic medical record system. Qualifications
Experience:
Minimum 1 year (Unit accepts first-time travelers)Certifications:
BLS, WOCN
(Wound Ostomy Continence Nursing)Required Skills:
- Wound assessment and management (pressure ulcers, neuropathic ulcers, arterial/venous ulcers)
- Colostomy and ileostomy care
- Catheter and incontinence program management
- Wound vac therapy and dressing changes Additional Information
