Category Nursing - RN - Cath Lab Job Type Contract An excellent opportunity awaits experienced Cath Lab nurses seeking a dynamic environment in a progressive California hospital. This contract role requires a skilled RN with demonstrated expertise in cardiac procedures and procedural care, supporting a busy cath lab handling a wide variety of cases including structural interventions, PCIs, EVARs, peripheral angiography, pacemakers, stents, and more.

Schedule/Hours:

8-hour and 12-hour shifts starting at 7:00 a.m. High need coverage on Mondays and Fridays One weeknight of call per week (self-sign-up) One full weekend of call every five weeks (rotational schedule) 30-minute call response time required

Key Qualifications:

Active California RN license BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum two years of recent cath lab experience Competency in scrubbing cases and maintaining a sterile field Direct experience with PCI procedures; pacemaker expertise highly preferred Experience with procedural sedation strongly preferred Proficiency in Cerner and Merge electronic medical records

Core Responsibilities:

Assist with complex cardiovascular procedures in a state-of-the-art, five-suite cath lab Perform case scrubbing, room turnover, patient transport, and accurate documentation Contribute to admissions and support as needed in IR or Ambulatory Care Unit Maintain a consistently high standard of sterile technique and patient safety Participate in call rotation for weeknights, weekends, and holidays
