Category Schools - RN Nurse Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding experience this summer by supporting young learners as a Certified School Nurse. This contract opportunity, available from June 16th through July 16th, is perfect for those seeking a part-time assignment. Work just 20 hours per week, with hours set Monday through Thursday, 9 am to 1 pm. Your expertise will be vital in conducting essential preschool assessments, such as vision and hearing screenings, ensuring students get the strong start they deserve. What you'll bring to the role: Active Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential required Current RN license with clear standing Previous experience in school or pediatric settings preferred Confident conducting screenings and health assessments for preschool-aged children Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Key responsibilities: Deliver vision and hearing screenings for preschool students Complete health assessments and maintain thorough, accurate documentation Communicate clearly with staff and families regarding assessment results Participate in team meetings as needed to support student well-being Provide insight and recommendations on student health concerns This position offers a balanced summer schedule—afternoons and evenings will be yours, creating the ideal blend of professional satisfaction and personal time.
