Job Description

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years ER RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Core Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive patient assessments at admission, continually reassessing and updating care plans as conditions change Administer medications and treatments precisely, monitoring effects and adjusting care as needed Educate patients and families based on individual needs, utilizing approved educational tools Thoroughly document all care, interventions, assessments, and patient responses in a clear, timely manner Analyze diagnostic data, promptly alerting physicians to changes in clinical status using effective SBAR communication Participate in multidisciplinary planning and ensure adherence to safety guidelines and infection control standards Apply knowledge of the full age spectrum, from pediatric to geriatric patient care Respond capably to emergencies, understanding hospital protocols for various codes and rapid response Maintain current
BLS, ACLS, PALS/ENPC
certifications (with
TNCC/ATCN/CEN
strongly preferred)
Desired Skills & Experience:
Active, unrestricted RN license Minimum of 2 years recent Emergency Department experience preferred Strong critical thinking, patient assessment, and rapid decision-making skills Familiarity with National Patient Safety Goals, infection control, medication administration, and restraint protocols Experience with teaching hospital models, or willingness to adapt
