Key Responsibilities:

Conduct hearing and vision screenings for students in accordance with school health protocols. Collaborate with existing school nursing staff to support health initiatives throughout the school year. Manage a varied caseload, addressing diverse student health needs and disabilities. Maintain compliance with California school nursing standards and student health regulations. Follow the Morgan Hill Unified School District student calendar, providing nursing services approximately 6 hours per day.

Qualifications:

Valid California license as a Registered Nurse (RN), Certified School Nurse (CSN), or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN). Prior experience working in school health or pediatric nursing preferred. Ability to handle varied health conditions and coordinate care within an educational setting. Strong communication skills to work effectively with students, parents, and school personnel. Availability to begin immediately and commit through the end of the current school year.
