Category Schools - RN Nurse Job Type Contract Exciting opportunity for a Certified School Nurse to make a real difference during the Extended School Year (ESY) session! If you have experience as an RN or Certified School Nurse (CSN), consider joining a supportive school environment this summer. This contract role offers meaningful work and a schedule perfect for work-life balance. As part of a caring educational team, you will: Work Monday through Thursday, 9 am to 1 pm (20 hours per week) Support students from June 16th to July 16th Conduct preschool health assessments with a focus on vision and hearing screenings Maintain accurate and confidential health records Collaborate with educators and families on student health plans Ensure a safe, nurturing environment for young learners To thrive in this role, candidates should have: Valid RN license and Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential Previous experience with pediatric or school nursing, especially with preschool-age children Knowledge of current best practices in student health screenings Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with families and school staff Strong organizational and documentation skills This is a fulfilling opportunity to focus on preventative healthcare and support preschoolers as they begin their educational journey.
