Our mission is to provide safe, efficient, and patient-centered care in a modern outpatient setting while helping patients improve function, mobility, and overall quality of life. We perform a variety of minimally invasive pain management procedures, including: Cervical and lumbar neurostimulator trials and permanent implants Epidural steroid injections (ESI) Medial branch blocks (MBB) Trigger point injections (TPI) Additional image-guided interventional pain procedures As a AAAHC-credentialed facility, Bayside Surgery Center is committed to maintaining the highest standards of patient safety, clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. Our team works collaboratively to create a streamlined surgical experience while delivering compassionate, high-quality care to every patient. We are seeking team members who are detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about contributing to a fast-paced healthcare environment focused on exceptional patient outcomes. This position does require individual to be available every 2nd/4th Friday of each month for procedures. Qualifications Current RN license in the State of California. Current
BLS / ACLS
certification. Minimum 1-2 years of Operating Room experience preferred Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) experience preferred Responsibilities Performs comprehensive pre-procedure verification, including patient identification, surgical site verification, procedure confirmation, and review of consent forms. Prepares and maintains operating rooms, equipment, supplies, and instrumentation required for scheduled procedures. Functions as the circulating nurse during surgical procedures. Assists with patient positioning, ensuring safety, comfort, and prevention of pressure injuries. Maintains a sterile environment and ensures compliance with infection prevention standards and facility policies. Conducts surgical counts according to facility protocols and participates in count reconciliation. Collaborates with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and other team members to ensure efficient patient care and workflow. Anticipates procedural needs and facilitates the timely availability of equipment, implants, medications, and supplies. Monitors patient safety throughout the procedure and advocates for patient needs. Documents intraoperative assessments, interventions, medications, implants, specimens, and procedural events accurately and completely. Assists with specimen handling, labeling, and transport according to facility policies. Coordinates room turnover and preparation for subsequent procedures. Ensures proper handling, storage, and accountability of medications and controlled substances. Assists with emergency situations and participates in code response as needed. Maintains compliance with accreditation, regulatory, and quality assurance standards. Participates in staff meetings, continuing education, and performance improvement initiatives. Performs other duties as assigned within the scope of nursing practice.
