Qualifications:
Current and valid RN license (state-specific or compact) Minimum of 2 years' recent clinical experience in Interventional Radiology BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required) Strong IV access and sedation management skills Proficiency with maintaining sterile technique and assisting in IR procedures Collaborative, adaptable, and patient-focused
Responsibilities:
Deliver pre-, intra-, and post-procedural nursing care for patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures Monitor vital signs, sedation levels, and patient well-being Perform patient assessments and create individualized care plans Collaborate with radiologists and tech teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Provide thorough patient education and clear communication with families Uphold rigorous infection control and safety protocols
