PM Pay Local:
$90- $100/hr
Pay Travel:
$3200- $3600 Gross weekly
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill infants, children, and adolescents in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patients' conditions, including cardiac and hemodynamic status. Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and specialized treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols. Operate and monitor advanced critical care equipment, including ventilators, cardiac monitors, infusion pumps, and other life-support devices. Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the multidisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized care plans. Perform accurate patient assessments, document clinical findings, and maintain timely electronic medical records. Educate patients' families on treatment plans, disease processes, and discharge planning while providing emotional support. Ensure compliance with infection prevention, patient safety, and quality standards in the critical care environment.Experience Required:
Minimum 5 years of recent PICU experience 5 years of pediatric cardiac experience Must have straight PICU experience (no float experience accepted)Certificate/License Required:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) License Basic Life Support (BLS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) #IRI-RN Pay:
$90.00- $100.
