Instructional Associate, Nursing and Allied Health (2 Positions) MiraCosta College - 4.6 Oceanside, CA Job Details Part-time From $36,746.10 a year 1 day ago Qualifications Laboratory experience Mid-level Laboratory staff supervision Full Job Description JOB Two regular, part-time positions, 18 hours per week, 12 months per year on the Oceanside Campus. The normal work schedule will be Monday & Wednesday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., and Tuesdays from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Occasional Saturdays will be required. One position is district-funded with no end date, the other position is currently funded through 6/30/2027 only; continued employment after this date is contingent on grant renewal. The persons selected for these positions will be subject to assignment to any district facility during any hours of operation.
These are "extended day" positions, subject to possible fluctuations in daily working hours, and may be exempt from compensation for overtime in excess of eight (8) hours in one day. Hours worked in excess of forty (40) hours in a week shall be compensated on an overtime basis.
The first-level interviews with the screening and interview committee will be conducted via Zoom. The second-level interviews may be in-person or via Zoom.
The District may consider an individual request to temporarily reside outside of the State of California or outside the 200-mile limit on a case-by-case basis, not to exceed twelve consecutive months.
Under general supervision, assist within an instructional program by performing complex technical work in an instructional learning environment for a highly technical or complex vocational subject area; exercise judgment and initiative in coordinating labs and other instructional facilities and materials of the assigned area of learning; oversee the work of other support staff and student workers; and perform related duties as assigned.
Starting at $36,746.10 annually (range 25, step 1), with annual salary step increases up to step 5.

RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT
MiraCosta College Board Policy 7800: Employee Residency requires all classified staff, administrators, and temporary/hourly short-term employees to maintain and permanently reside in a principal place of residence in the state of California that is within two hundred (200) road miles from the employee's regularly assigned district worksite. The purpose of the policy is to promote efficiency and continuity throughout all campus administrative functions, provide students with high-quality assistance and accessibility to all academic and campus services, ensure that students receive an engaging education, and respond to emerging student needs.The District may consider an individual request to temporarily reside outside of the State of California or outside the 200-mile limit on a case-by-case basis, not to exceed twelve consecutive months.
