Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Pediatric - Oceanside (Base Access Required)

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide one-to-one nursing care for a pediatric patient in the Oceanside area. This role begins part-time with a defined path to full-time hours. Active base access (or eligibility to obtain base access for Camp Pendleton) is required. Key Responsibilities Provide direct, one-to-one nursing care to a pediatric patient per the physician-ordered plan of care Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Monitor and document vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patient condition Operate and monitor medical equipment as needed (e.g., feeding pumps, suction, oxygen) Communicate effectively with the family, care team, and supervising RN Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Follow all infection control, safety, and HIPAA standards

Schedule & Compensation Schedule:

Part-time initially, with transition to full-time based on patient needs and performance

Shifts:

Days M-F Requirements Current, active California LVN license in good standing Base access for Camp Pendleton Current BLS/CPR certification (AHA preferred) Prior pediatric or private duty nursing experience preferred Reliable transportation Strong communication, documentation, and time-management skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with pediatric private duty / one-to-one care Familiarity with pediatric medical equipment g-tube Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO & Life (FT Only) Matching 401
