Cath Lab Experience & Qualifications:
Current RN license (valid for California) At least 2 years of recent Cath Lab nursing experience BLS and ACLS certifications required Strong clinical assessment skills, especially in cardiovascular care Ability to thrive in high-acuity, fast-paced environments Expertise with diagnostic and interventional cardiology equipment Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver expert nursing care to patients during cardiac catheterization procedures Prepare patients pre- and post-procedure, monitoring vital signs and administering medications Collaborate closely with physicians, techs, and support staff to ensure patient safety and procedural success Accurately document patient care and maintain detailed, up-to-date records Provide clear education and support to patients and their families throughout their care
