Current California licensed RN in good standing with a minimum of (2) two-years of experience. The candidate must possess a comprehensive understanding of psychotropic medications and a desire and compassion to work with individuals with serious mental illness. Ideal candidates should have experience in medical/surgical settings, substance abuse and dual diagnosis treatment. Bi-lingual Spanish preferred.
Job Summary :
Provides comprehensive nursing services for clients with acute and chronic mental illness. Experience with detox protocols and basic physical health medications necessary. The candidate must possess the desire and compassion necessary to work with a population of chronic alcohol and substance users.
