1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced Pediatric OR RN for a fast-paced procedure center role requiring general surgery experience, ACLS/PALS/BLS certifications, and a CA RN license. Details Pediatric OR/Procedure Center setting in an inpatient/outpatient hospital environment Primary patient population is pediatric; adults seen on rare occasions Minor surgical cases include ENT, Plastics, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Urology, Dentistry, Oncology, and Endoscopy (GI & Pulmonary)
EMR:
SurgiNet (Cerner); verified experience required
Schedule:
4x10-hour day shifts, 6:00 AM
  • 4:30 PM On-call required: 5 weekday and 2 weekend call shifts per 6-week schedule Weekend coverage is required No floating required Requirements Active CA RN license required Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS Minimum 2 years of acute or outpatient OR experience accepted, provided the candidate has experience in the majority of the listed surgical specialties General surgery experience required Experience working in a fast-paced OR environment required Verified SurgiNet (Cerner) EMR experience required First-time travelers are not eligible for this position Additional Information Candidate should have experience in the majority of the surgical specialties listed (ENT, Plastics, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Urology, Dentistry, Oncology) Training for endoscopy (GI & Pulmonary) may be provided if needed Contract length is 13 weeks with the possibility of extension for interested candidates
