The ideal candidate will have strong L&D and Postpartum experience and be comfortable caring for high-risk obstetric patients in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Float Weekend Requirement:

Every Other Weekend Floating Required:

L&D nurses must float to Postpartum and NICU as needed

Patient Population:

Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Newborns, and High-Risk Obstetric Patients Locals as well as travelers are accepted

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of L&D RN experience required Postpartum experience required Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certifications required AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring required Ability to circulate C-sections required

Skills & Qualifications:

Strong Labor & Delivery and Postpartum nursing skills Experience caring for high-risk pregnancies and deliveries Ability to circulate C-sections and provide recovery care Experience with fetal monitoring and interpretation Ability to care for newborns and grower/feeder infants when floating to NICU Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment

7 L&D Beds 4 Triage Beds with 2 Overflow Beds 27 Postpartum Beds 5-Bed Nursery Approximately 1,545

Births Annually High-Risk Deliveries, Substance Withdrawal Cases, Limited Prenatal Care Cases, and Spanish-Speaking Patient Population Charting System:

Cerner Pay:

$3,200.00 - $3,272.50 per week
