line Full Job Description Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Wound Care Nurse, you will specialize in comprehensive wound and ostomy care. You will elevate care quality, optimize patient outcomes, and ensure cost-effective management. Every day you will provide expert consultation and direct care for complex wounds. You'll assess, plan, and evaluate individualized care, educate patients/staff on best practices, monitor outcomes, and ensure protocol adherence. To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate strong critical thinking, communication, and a commitment to evidence-based practice. Promotes an interdisciplinary approach to wound/ostomy care/PICC line insertions within the hospital setting.

Observation, Documentation, Feedback. Encourages involvement of patient/family/significant other in decision making related to plan of care.

Observation, Documentation, Feedback. Independently assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the wound care of patients. Documents skin condition on progress notes and on skin assessment record.
