Role:
As a NOC Nurse at The Pines, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to our residents during the night shift, ensuring that all nursing activities are performed in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. You will also supervise nursing assistants and contribute to the smooth operation of the facility during your shift. What You'll Do:
Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with their care plans Supervise and guide nursing assistants on your shift to ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians Complete and maintain accurate documentation for all nursing activities Conduct regular rounds, ensuring residents receive appropriate care and comfort Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for residents Monitor and respond to changes in residents' conditions, making adjustments to care plans as necessary Participate in facility surveys and quality assurance initiatives Provide leadership and support to the nursing team to maintain high standards of care
What We're Looking For:
Required:
Current LVN license in the state of California Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is preferred Strong understanding of nursing practices and regulations Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care Ability to handle administrative duties such as charting, incident reporting, and medication administration Current CPR certification and willingness to maintain continuing education Why Choose The Pines?
