Job Description

Hospitals on Incredible Health are actively hiring and accepting applications in the Pomona, CA area for the following position: Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology. Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Interventional radiology, Nuclear medicine, or Sedation. Qualifications:
Associate's Degree (ADN) or above in nursing Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license 1 year experience in radiology, ICU, or a high-acuity clinical setting preferred BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association Strong understanding of radiologic and imaging procedures and safety protocols, including the use of contrast media Proficient in electronic medical record systems
Responsibilities:
Assist radiologists and other medical professionals during diagnostic imaging examinations and interventional radiology procedures Administer and monitor intravenous contrast agents, ensuring that any allergic reactions or complications are promptly addressed Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide optimal patient care before, during, and after radiologic and diagnostic imaging procedures Educate patients and their families on pre- and post-procedure care, explaining the risks and benefits of radiologic tests and contrast agents Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all nursing care in accordance with hospital and departmental policies
