1 Description American Traveler is seeking a PTA with 2+ years of experience and active BLS certification for a 13-week Home Health assignment in the greater Sacramento, CA area. Details Home Health setting serving the greater Sacramento County area Patients present with a variety of diagnoses including cardiopulmonary, orthopedic, neurological, and geriatric conditions Typical caseload is 5-6 patients per day Uses Cerner for documentation and charting 8-hour day shifts Requirements Active PTA state license (California or Compact/NLC); pending licenses will not be accepted — license required if applicable Active BLS (AHA) certification required; pending certifications will not be accepted Minimum 2 years of experience as a PTA Copy of driver's license required for consideration Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked, and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked, each including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire Additional Information Treats patients across a broad range of diagnoses including cardiopulmonary, orthopedic, neurological, and geriatric conditions in a home health environment New graduates are considered only in exceptional circumstances; at least 2 years of experience is strongly preferred Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity-affiliated facility within the past year are not eligible; candidates employed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
