EXPERIENCED DERMATOLOGY RN

We are looking for a highly skilled, high-energy Registered Nurse to join our team as a Physician Extender. This is an elite clinical role supporting a very procedural Dermatologist in a high-volume setting. Our practice provides comprehensive care for a diverse patient base, including both adults and children. We are seeking a professional who is technically proficient in surgical assisting and wound care, yet possesses the empathy and patience required for pediatric interactions.

Key Responsibilities Surgical & Procedure First-Assist:

Assist the physician in a high volume of procedures, including biopsies, excisions, and cosmetic treatments.

Clinical Execution:

Perform high-level wound care, complex dressing changes, suture removals, and administer localized injections.

Pediatric & Adult Patient Care:

Comfortably manage patient flow and instructions for all ages, adapting communication styles for children and their parents.

Patient Navigation:

Provide detailed pre- and post-operative instructions to ensure successful patient outcomes and safety.

Physician Support:

Function as a true \"extender,\" anticipating the physician's needs in a fast-paced environment and managing medical documentation.

Dermatology Physician Extender Required Qualifications License:

Current, unrestricted California Registered Nurse (RN) license.

Experience:

Preferred direct experience in Dermatology or Cosmetic Nursing. Strong backgrounds in surgical or pediatric nursing will be considered.

Clinical Skills:

Expert knowledge of sterile techniques, wound management, and assisting with surgical instruments.
